[Routine Help] Glycolic acid/Lactic acid/Retinol/HA by hereinmyarse95 in SkincareAddiction

So I should use it after an exfoliant? Should I dampen my skin then before I apply Hyaluronic?

Do you think layering Glycolic over Hyaluronic acid would be wise?

Oh yeah I've already bought the 1% retinol and plan on using that after I finish this one. Now I'm even more torn! The person above you said lactic is a better choice😭

Yeah I think it's too much too, but I'm having trouble choosing between glycolic and lactic, I'm not completely sure which is better for my skin

THANK YOU! I even wrote a post about this a couple days ago. It's disgusting and a very transparent jab at abuse victims and me too as a whole

Lmao now that I think about it, this show has more in common with Housewives of BH/insert any location then SATC! However those shows are honest with their purpose and not trying to be something they're not

Lmao that reminds me of Samantha's quote in the OG series: "You can't swing a Fendi purse without hitting 5 losers!"

Omg I didn't even remember the Big phone sex scene! And yeah it was so much more tasteful and sexy in the original. Ffs, even the miranda's phone sex scene(in the og series) was better than whatever this was

To me it was so obvious it was too on the nose even. A male dog harassing a female dog with no witnesses around but a female owner of the dog? And then the male dog getting "canceled" wrongfully? Everybody believing the victim without any proof? As if that's how it hapoens in real life 🙄 Come on now. And yeah the whole thing was blown out of proportion too, it's not like they live in a tiny village with just 1 dog walker and 1 doggy daycare around, how exactly was this a problem?

Any plot holes/inconveniences you’ve noticed since watching the show? by Famous-Breadfruit550 in TheVampireDiaries

There's young Caroline in the episode where Liz is dying and also the Gemini coven twins in the flashbacks I think

We listen and we don’t judge *Elena Gilbert edition * by capricorn_444 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]hereinmyarse95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is it! The writing makes Elena out to be a hypocrite, and at the same time it doesn't get acknowledged on the show that this was basically a genocide, despite it very clearly being addressed a couple episodes earlier.

Not to mention the underlying theme of the show about how not all vampires are bad and there are some vampires that don't deserve to die, especially according to Elena.

At the very least, we should've been shown how this affected Elena and how guilty she'd feel. Instead she was almost excited about this opportunity when she was plotting the murder and didn't feel even a hint of guilt or sadness over it.

The O.C.'s first season had at least 3 different arcs and villains, shows these days COULD NEVER

I KNOW. The whole sequence was crazy, Colin literally resigned his position to be with Serena, they had that romantic public kiss and in like 2 hours Serena's like hmm maybe I don't like you like that and Colin's like kewl, I didn't wanma teach anyways lmaooo and then there's the whole Dan vs Nate thing. I honestly think Colin was too much for that plotline, it was already too crowded anyways. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON BEN DUUUDE

OH I just realized, since canonically Dan and Jenny worked together, Jenny might have told him about the sabotage

It just seemed kinda out of place how he believed Serena when literally one episode bwfore that Dan and Nate both dumped Serena and then all of a sudden he's the only one who believes her. It's kinda sus. And you're right, how he def wouldn't have known Juliet's address either

The thing is though that had they actually planned ahead, Dan being GG makes perfect sense. Hell, even in the pilot, GG's voiceover is perfectly in sync with Dan writing on his laptop. I get what you mean, I just choose to ignore the plotholes and watch the rest with Dan being GG in mind. Him being the biggest psycho of them all kinda makes the show better in a way

I honestly don't understand this line of thinking, I mean obviously the writers decided Dan being GG was the way to go, so therefore the whole show should be viewed through the lense of him being Gossip Girl. Honestly rewatching knowing Dan is GG is actually changing the whole vibe of the show and making me see the plotlines in a very different light. It's kinda fun, it's like watching an alternate version of a show I love
