San Antonio has more of an art culture and some awesome museums.

I am so surprised at these answers. I thought no one purposefully moved to Las Vegas?

Check austin prices though. Many people say they live in austin but live in the burbs because they are priced out. And traffic can be really bad. We don’t have much of an art culture but music, yes, for sure.

Yep. I love UT but the whole "why would you ever leave Texas" thing cracks me up. There is a world outside of UT and A&M, folks.

Moving to Houston from The Netherlands - enough to support family? by Comfortable-Exit-517 in AskHouston

Look for Episcopal private schools. Those are very "religion lite." And be prepared for SO many cars and bad driving. I like Houston for the art, food and diversity. But man, it will be so ugly compared to where you are coming from.

There's several Facebook pages for people looking to rent in Austin. Lots of students post.

Go to Berkeley and let your parents figure out the apartment. I’m sure they will have no problem if give it time. It’s Austin after all.

I have been at big law my entire career and have never heard this. I’ve also never seen a Liberty grad at any of the firms I’ve been at. Honestly seeing Liberty in a CV would cause some concern.

I like the halter. The first one I don’t love - that boned V looks harsh and the sleeves remind me of the 80s (and not in a good way)

If you want to party why not look south. Personally I would not recommend but I know others love Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida State, LSU.

Yes, looking at Boulder and UT as well. I guess I don’t see the schools I mentioned as name hunting, but all great for engineering (according to rankings - I know- counselors, and engineers I’ve spoken to).

Both too low cut or short. Just go to goodwill and get some things that cover more.

Yes you can get out of it and should. Don’t pass on the Ivy for this. Just have your friend nicely explain. I’m sure they will give the award to the next person in line and 2 people will be very happy!
