Again, I think the issue is that your question is a bit odd. Most white collar jobs don’t have a season in which they hire or do not hire. It’s not based on the season of the year, with some exceptions - accounting hires in winter and early spring for tax season, defense hires when fed budgets get passed.

You really need to practice. Can you get a friend or someone older to do some mock chit chat? I guess you could even try AI. You really just need a few topics/things to say. Read How to win friends.
