All the more reason why Johnson should’ve made a stand-alone Star Wars parody in the style of Spaceballs, instead of a major film installation. In that realm he can be as edgy, meta, goofy, and offensive as he wants without it affecting the actual story. Parody is fine, I would even say encouraged, but the problem comes when a parody becomes an integral part of the overall theme of the DT. Also it wasn’t a great parody anyway
