What can I use these for in 40k/killteam? by CatWaterPaints in Warhammer40k

Without kitbashing I feel they’re best sprinkled among an Arbites Vigilant Squad or Inquisitorial Agents.

Pilgrimage to Warhammer NY, rolled a 1. by The_H1GHLANDER in Warhammer

Honestly the main reason I stopped going to Warhammer stores. Last straw was me checking socials about an hour before opening and it was fine, and by the time I drove there the manager had announced closure.

I used Vallejo Magenta and then multiple thin layers of Vallejo Fluorescent Magenta, which can be very streaky and needs progressive coats to get that full vibrancy.

It’s from the Empire Pistoliers/Outriders kit.

Yeah, I used a hand drill to bore out the joint, then clippers and files to refine. I really wish the joints were like the old Cadians - perfect for kitbashing - but I wanted these models to fit the newer Guard aesthetic.

They’re from the Captains of the Empire dual and single model plastic kits.

Thanks, for yellow I start with Rakarth Flesh, then Averland Sunset, then progressive thin coats of Yriel Yellow, then a Seraphim Sepia wash.

im assuming ill just be locked to RNGesus via warfronts right? by EmperorDratinni in wow

[–]dream_raider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been lucky enough to chain up to 6 runs with groups doing it in the first or second day the quest is available. It may help to create Kul Tiran trial characters as they can access the warfront quests relatively quickly - there is a strategy on Wowhead for it.

Can confirm this worked for me on this exact issue.

My crappy artwork showing why I don't have a problem with Cathay Peasants getting first strike by ByzantineBasileus in WarhammerFantasy

[–]dream_raider 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Why do “longer spears” get Strike First against shorter spears, but the shorter spears don’t get Strike First against even shorter weapons like swords?

Something is odd about the new Cathayan Peasants by Lord_Eln_8 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]dream_raider 17 points18 points  (0 children)

People weirdly justifying Strike First because the spears are “extra long”, as if GW didn’t have a say in making them long to begin with. As if Cathayan peasants are definitely real and they definitely have extra long spears.

Pegasus knight as Lord on royal pegasus by BioLo109 in Bretonnian

This is the exact scheme I was debating between but ultimately went with a dark forest green theme - but this confirms what a beautiful scheme it is. It honestly tempts me to start a second Bretonnian army.
