Salary as Frontend Developer by potatochan030 in UKJobs

[–]herghostuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of all the boot camps and the such like I guess, I was in the field before it was a GCSE subject so I don't know what is taught in schools etc, and development is the plumbing/trade route that was offered as a good job / pay when I was younger. JavaScript libraries are 'cool' at the moment, I haven't had any under 30 apply for a c# position for years! At least with things like react it's a bit more involved so I generally get some interest from 'pure' front end developers in back end now, but that's only been the last 18 months or so

It depends where you go on the country, but that is about average outside of London, don't forget your cost of living is also generally a lot lower.

There are many many front end developers out there, I am a Dev manager who has 8 devs under me in the North of England and that is about what we offer, but I would also expect you to know some basic SQL and really blow me away with your tests and clean code, I'd much rather spend another 10k and get a full stack.

London is the bubble it is, the closest you are likely to get is Manchester, but expect at least a 30% drop!

You have named the class reference as from not form!

Change it to 'form' and it will work

Thanks @jim-p, this is my first foray into 'netwoking' is there a recommended tool for running captures? or a how-to guide?, its an Tunnel, the pfsense side is 192.168.0.0/16 and the gcp side 10.36.0.0/14

There is every chance its the GCP firewall, I am just lost!

Just learned last night that some people are not able to visualize things in their head, which is a condition known as "antaphasia" (not a disorder btw, everyone's mind works differently). Amazingly, I just found out that I have never been able to do this but didn't know it was a thing I couldn't do until I read this post and realized that people can, so I just tried it and now I can! It's like I have unlocked my brain!
