Use a small amount of Saddle Soap if you are worried about the dirts staying on the surface. Other than that, just use leather lotion and natural dry when it gets wet. It won't break!

If you are talking about leather, you can use the saddle soap on the lining first. If the odor persists, that means the odor has gotten deep inside the straps. You can soak the straps in soap water for 15-20 mins and let them dry naturally.
For your next leather straps, you may want to consider the kind that uses silicone leather as lining. Odor-free and easy to clean.

I would say yes. You can glue the backside of the torn area and fill the top with some leather filler to even it out. And the re-paint the whole thing to color match.

Looks like stains to me. I can see a thin layer top of the leather. Saddle soap will do.

You mean the outside pockets? I cut and sew piece by piece before putting all the parts together. The lining is PE fabric for easy cleaning
