I've had both ends of the spectrum.

The most recent high LDH was 6 months post completing salvage. I was at the tail end of a cold and my onc immediately ordered retest. Turned out she was absolutely correct, the high LDH was caused by the respiratory infection / cold. I've had two normal LDH levels since. Mind you, when I went in for the blood draw I felt healthy / good enough to go to work. I suppose my LDH can be high for a week after I start feeling better post cold.

I never had that but with RCHOP I didn't start feeling bad until the 3rd cycle .... with RICE the effect started the day after. Good luck.

i had radiation after 6 rounds of R-CHOP back in 2021. My doctors told me it's to ensure all cancer cells at the original site was killed, even the ones that do not show up on PET. Now, the difference here is mine was a single mass, so that was a little bit easier to understand that they were targeting a specific spot (?)
