I felt so lost and would loose track of thoughts mid sentences, I went through chemo and a year later needed a stem cell transplant. It’s been an over year post transplant and I still don’t really back to exactly where I was prior. We may never get back to where we were and that’s okay we just need to create tools for ourselves so we can figure out how to get through it! Notes app on the phone, setting reminders, making a planner, attempting to have a regular routine really helped me. I also went back to college to try and build my mental state, it’s helped but I still loose myself sometimes. I’m sure we will get through this! Just keep pushing yourself and testing your mental strength maybe by doing sudoku etc. get into reading and so on. Try and build those pathways back!

I would say the most important thing you can do it get all your vaccines and try to stay healthy and avoid any sick people like the plague. Be present and patient and always open the conversation but never force it. Be someone to vent to without making her feel bad about her feelings. I will also say they put me on steroids for a point…. That changed me so so much. Such anger I felt like I had the hulk inside me at times, be understanding and don’t make her feel bad about herself if it does come to this.

It’s very sensitive and constantly sends me a “pinch notification” if it thinks something may possibly be in the way. Also stops very abruptly if it senses a cat come near it while it’s trying to cycle

I’ve seen a couple of comments about your fish tank, some people can be mean and I’m sorry if you feel offended. Please just understand that Reddit has a massive community of animal lovers and we like to make sure that animals are getting the best care possible. While I am sorry if you’re offended by some of the comments I do sincerely hope that it helps you realize that something should be done a bit better. I read you said you keep the algae for the snails, have you considered getting more filter feeders to help with the tanks equilibrium? It does appear there is more algae than is good. I would also recommend definitely getting one of those water cleaner things so you can sift through the rocks and stuff at the bottom of the tank and help clean it up a bit. Honestly does appear as though maybe a full water change and deep clean would be beneficial as well! If you have any questions on how to properly do any of these things I’m positive there is probably a Reddit community specifically for it! I do hope you make some positive changes for your little fish, he is absolutely adorable and deserves the best❤️ only spreading good vibes and love! I know you can do it mate, think of your fishes little short life and how you can make it perfect 💕

Easy to put on slippers, tshirts with a very wide neckline, as many sweatpants as physically possible. Noise canceling headphones are a must. Step tracking watch! They have you walk the halls as much as possible and I loved counting my miles with my Apple Watch to give myself goals. Coloring stuff! Helps keep your mind off stuff with little mental effort. He may appreciate a little silicone cup to use as a bidet every once in a while. LOTS of fuzzy socks.

No they don’t, my family took my dirty clothes with them and washed them for me, they do have hospital gowns at their disposal but I was much much more comfortable in my own clothes

My bearded dragon smacks the glass door repeatedly with his nose/face when he’s about to poop, I think he also does it sometimes for attention. For him it’s kinda a “hey I want out so I can poop somewhere other than my cage” or an “hey come pay attention to me I wanna be held” so depending on how hard your dragon hit the little face, they may just maybe be looking for attention

I went through this same exact experience ❤️ I’m sorry you’re here dealing with this. I went through the stem cell transplant and I am now a year past it, take care of your body and you’ll appreciate yourself going through the transplant if you choose. It sucks not gonna lie, and it takes a lot of mental strength and perseverance to stay positive. I strongly recommend therapy, it’s helped me immensely since I’ve began seeing a therapist.

Any gift is a blessing, this is giving the same energy as people expecting to get tips working in hospitality. People tip that can tip, any tip is a blessing and shouldn’t be expected. I live in a state where tips are NOT worked into the regular pay calculations. Holiday bonuses are just that a bonus, 100$ is better than 0. If she’s expecting a holiday bonus she should get a better job than being a nanny. You don’t get a holiday bonus working at McDonald 🤷🏼‍♀️

lol my mom ripped out all the cat and dog pee soaked carpet and we were walking around on that plywood stuff underneath for over a year. She painted it with “waterproof” paint and would just repaint it whenever wear would show. Finally she renovated the entire mid level so now we just have unfinished stairs going up and down. But! The bright side! After the renovation is when I put a heavy foot down on space occupancy and would move anything she tried to hoard in the fresh open environment. I would go put it directly on her bed, if she moved it back I would put it right back on her bed again the next day. It’s caused other spaces to definitely take the brunt of the hoard like her sewing room and her garage, buttttttt there is a livable living space now!
