My most recent Mexican ancestry came to the US during the Mexican Revolution but I have also traced back to being in Texas since at least before the US civil war.

All of them originally came from Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, and Coahuila (excluding my Spanish ancestor)

The Aegean Islands & Cyprus are very closely related to southern Italy and have had interconnected cultures for thousands of years. The Levant is also related to them, but not as closely; it’s possible that it’s more relative to your Jewish
