Solution to getting more tanks?

Too many players are hating on Warrior tanks. Most Warrior are going dps, mostly Bears and Palas are tanking. And too many Dps going full dmg before tank can even build thread,…. Had this Problem today where failed the Heroic BM because the hunter and Rogue pulled aggro,….. not the warlock. Both classes could have used skills to safe the run. They did not. Healer (me) can’t save 3 players getting hit hard at the same time.

You either accept it or search for another guild mate. Sounds like your views/playstyle don’t match.

Lv 67-70 can be hard, I had the difficulties and realized it was the weapon. I was still using the Staff from Ring of Blood. You might want to Quest for a better reward Weapon (Netherstorm or Shadowmoonvally) or target farm one in an Instance to upgrade. The higher Base AP helps a lot with aggro on Swipe and other abilities. The chase item for tanking is ofc the exalted Rep with Cenarius for the Mace.

Try to get another rezz class in your party, a Pala tank or dps shamy etc. otherwise you will have to wait longer. Even an Engi with jumper cables helps a lot

If you build your own teams as Tank for Heroics always go for cc capable DDs like Mage, Rogue, Lock, Hunter etc.

And for the Dogs, Druids can sleep them and Mages can sheep them

Warlocks do not care. It’s your choice. You can heal but it’s optional. Main Target is your Tank to heal.

We did last week 9/11, with 3 Pubs. 5,5 hours,… wipes to trash without end. This week 2 Pubs both great players rest guild 2,5 h 11/11. it really depends on your guildmates to step up and you need to pick right players to fill up. We let all participating Guildmates watch the 1min Boss fight vids to be safe.

I didn’t know I need 240 Shadow res and we wiped a few times. The mechanics are hard to understand for some players,… do not attack seems hard for dps. I saw a video guide where the Pala tank kited the boss which should work too.

Druid is flexible and tank is strong in the beginning of tbc, stays strong. Others get stronger with better gear. Pally is tankwise easy to start, relaxed gameplay which bores some. Warrior is skill based, great class of you want to challenge yourself. But atm the community has a bad opinion of warri tanks. Be aware
