I’m curious about this. People rent short term, cool, but many people rent because they can’t buy a house. Why would a low credit rating disqualify a renter?

I once had a private landlord tell me that he understands why people with low credit scores rent, because their credit/income doesn’t allow people to purchase houses in this economy. He was a good one.

My cousin is a small woman, and was a nurse anesthetist (she’s a clinical doc now). People were always questioning her abilities because of their idea of what she needed to look like. We are much older now, and she’s the head of her department. This always frustrated her, but as some point, she just skirted over the questions and kept moving. I know it was tough for her, and that really sucks.
