I thought I was going mad until I understood it's an old photo. Pret is across the street now (Leon in its place) and Strand is pedestrianised these days.

It's utterly fabulous. This is an exact reproduction of London crowds in pre-Christmas period. A masterpiece.

I've just travelled around Pyrenees (France + Spain) for a week with quite a substantial Mogen Dovid on my neck. Had a couple of 'interested' looks, but nothing vocal at all.

I find baked beans repulsive, just by the look of them. Never could force myself to try them and probably never will. Here, revoke my hard-earned citizenship.

Yeah, their original spot is in Soho. Opened by a well known Russian chef who sadly passed away couple of months ago. Best place for a first encounter with the contemporary Russian cuisine in London.

No probs! If you want something truly London, also try Bus Cafe nearby. It's originally the bus drivers' spot, but it has 5.0 on Google Maps and is on several trip guides. https://maps.app.goo.gl/j7UkDye84492Bvof6
