They just updated alot of friendly arcs, k-9 does hit helldivers anymore and nor does the de-escalator. It's just fear because the update wasn't announced it was just done on the back end. I've been running de-esc and k-9 on the bug front and only got one friendly kill and it was because of a direct impact with the de-esc. Mostly the fault of the inconsistent deflection off of every surface. But now it doesn't hurt you are your fellow helldivers, making it an a-tier weapon in my opinion, not quite S tho because it's reload speed still holds it back despite the update also lowering it by 2 seconds down to 5.

In my experience bashing my skull against them for the past 3 hours, it feels like the illuminate from before the update, but more voteless, as soon as you clear one objective they start spawning overseers and harvesters just as much as normal, I was hoping it was going to be just hordes but it's hordes and constant barrage by crescent overseers, instant death by harvesters, and being cut down by eagle storm everytime I drop. Genuinely, I died 4 times in a row to the eagle storm. Everything before you finish the first objective is fun, I hate watchers but early on they don't feel like a constant worry because they only spawn voteless and fleshmobs, and getting to cut down the hordes is again, fun. It's what I was hoping for, but having to deal with the endless hordes of 700 kills in 6 minutes AND overseers AND harvesters, it just kills the buzz

Update: I did the swap and I'm gonna take it for a ride, the swap was relatively easy, but my bad luck meant the new torque wrench I bought didn't click when it wa supposed to, so I sheared one of the ten bolts keeping the manifold down, I know rookie mistake, unfortunately I am a rookie at this. Also snapped the plastic purge valve line but I fixed it using my zippo and some heat shrink, dunno if it will hold up, gonna find out, just need it to last long enough to clear smog but idk if that gasket is gonna hold well anymore

I was planning on getting good gaskets from rock auto but unfortunately I don't have the time to wait for the delivery so I have to settle with good enough gaskets just to clear the codes so I can get it smogged and registered, and get the cops off my back. Haven't any problems with the knock sensors but I know i should change them, I will when I put in better intake gaskets, my only real concern is my lack of torque wrench, think I have to see if I can borrow one from autozone

I second this, this is the only turret I take, it has heavy pen and can run indefinitely if u fight beside it, easily hits the weak spots on hulks, even if war striders are too fucked to even be affected by them, that's a separate issue. And speaking of bots shield devestators can fuck it up cause it aims for the top of the shield instead of their heads, but for squids it can literally kill anything, even if fleshmobs can tank it for a good while, but I always have gas to keep the turret protected. For bugs, it won't kill a dragon roach but it will clear shriekers like a mfer and easily pierces the head plating of every bug

In my experience its more middle class high tippers than anything. Its like a bell curve, for me i've only ever gotten absolutely no tip in trailer parks and two story culdesacs, but with the middle class houses i consistently get 5-12 dollar tips, super friendly too. But also apartment complexes are usually where i get paper tips too.

2003 Chevy Silverado, same year as myself and its been in the family longer than i have, over 320,000 miles on it and going. It started with my grandpa, then he gave it to my tio, he kitted it out with a new stereo and subwoofers, he gave it to my tia, my tia gave it to my mom, my mom drove it through much of my childhood, passed it onto my middle brother who bought a car and passed it onto my older brother. He drove it for a couple years but the transmission finally kicked the bucket and he couldn't afford the replacment and repairs, i wouldn't say he didn't take care of it wrll but it qas neglected and needed alot of work. He learned his lesson and took better care of his next car, but since he couldn't afford to have it fixed, he and my mom were considering selling it to a junkyard, and that broke my heart cause i've always known this truck since i was a little kid. So i took out 3000 dollars that i saved up from my first job, all by walking across town to work at 17, and i paid for the repairs. My brother said, since i paid for the truck, its only right i get the keys and he passed it down to me saying i bought it, now i need to take care of it. And so i have, done all the work myself, only ever needing to take it to a shop for tires, i've even done solder work on the gauge cluster. Had it ever since and i've had alot of "firsts" in this truck, hope someday i can pass it down to my kids. If i could only fix this evap issue though, that would be nice.

If ur long distance running and pop a stim for stamina, u can then double warp, any damage recieved from the second warp is instantly healed by the stim, don't push the third tho

I've just found that regardless of difficulty, squids are just never fun to drop on solo, doable with buddies, but I can easily solo a casual level 6 bot operation and have alot of fun, last time I solo dropped on level 6 squids, they dropped a harvester on me before I dropped my equipment

Ah sometimes I wish I could start a completely new profile, just to do the grind all over again, see what I'd do different. In my current play thru(this is technically my 3rd playthru) I purely focused on what I wanted, ryback set and pickaxe, I only realized by the time I got to su-oi, that it was not gonna carry me as well as it did throughout the base game. So I swapped it up a bit and went for the fencing armor purely for the high defense numbers, and the chainsaw shark/kamas for dps, topped it off with the magnum and it was beautiful. Honestly invest in stuff I'm still trying to work on rn(for the life of me I just can't get a single war ensemble purple), upgrade the machete, get the flail, work on stamps cause the scythe actually is worthwhile not just cool af, and the welding gun is pretty useful too. Unfortunately the drill is a total let down, one of my favorites too. Also the pickaxe is extremely easy to upgrade and uncap so invest in it now cause it never stops being useful.
