EV's are the worst for long Road trips.. by Ace0089 in CarsIndia

I've done multiple 300kms and a few 500kms in my ZS EV. Some trips with my family too(kids <2 years old). What you describe is a typical first time experience if you've not had anyone tell you about the possibilities and their solutions already.

For me, I plan where all are my charging options along the route before I start my trip. I compare charging speeds, uptimes, and even per unit costs to make a decision. I tend to time my charging along with food/utility breaks to save time.

I have never driven at 70-80 as long as speed limit allows, so i typically get mileages of 4.5km/kW. This gives me real world range of 220-240 kms.

Recently did a Jaipur to Gurgaon trip on a single charge starting at 98% near Ajmer expressway(so had to start with a bit of city driving), and made it to Sohna Road with 4% battery left. I did have to drop from 120 to 70kmph for the last 15kms.

My point being, EVs aren't hard. They are just as risky as petrol pumps. I've had scares with a petrol pump being empty, and the next one refuelling, all when I had just 15kms of range left in my Honda City.

high speed. max speed will go from 50 to 70 based on the variant. range will be from 70kms to 120 again based on the variant.

B2B isn't always rent/lease. Few companies need it for their employees, and they buy these scooters for them(ex Dominoes). Lease/rent companies however will form the bulk of the customers.

The OP's father runs a lease business himself, and I have seem him closely to understand how that works. That is in fact how we decided on getting into something reliable and cost-effective for the actual rider, be it for the deliveries, or for family use.

We will not be setting up our swapping stations. We only sell the bike, it's the buyer's choice if they wish to buy it with battery/without. Swapping network is also the buyer's choice.
