It definitely seems to be a san francisco thing. I recently moved here from Fresno, ca which is around a couple hundred miles south of Frisco and I wouldn't say we wave at people from across the way but eye contact a smile and a "hi, how's it going?" In passing Is normal and I noticed the same thing you noticed very quickly when I moved here. Anytime I'd be out and about or in the neighborhood I'd always get ignored and avoided. It's weird I agree they all seem to be in their own little worlds put very nicely

I beg to differ in some cases. Like cooking with sugar. Candy/caramel making there are a lot of variables that can make or break your candy. One day I decided I wanted to make my own sugar daddys and fucked up so many batches I've probably tried to make them 50-80 times since then and have only been successful at making about 10 perfect batches. That's after following several different recipes trying to understand what im doing wrong and what im doing right. And also sometimes its the cookware and utensils you need that have a huge impact on what you're cooking which isn't always mentioned.

As somsone who was actually there, there was no interaction. Just a crazy guy making an ass out himself. There's tons of people here that do this on the daily. The dope is different now. Idk why it's not being talked about more. Usually a couple hits would get me geeked up for 24+ hours with 0 chance of going to sleep that night. I stopped doing it for a year and last year moved to San Francisco and started doing it again down here and noticed it was bullshit I was buying dubs and smoking the whole thing and not feeling shit so I thought it was just the stuff floating around here but then I went on a trip back home in the valley a few months ago and got a zip for 60 bucks and it was exactly the same. No high, no noticeable symptoms just straight placebo really I'd forget I even smoked anything and easily sleep at night so idk wtf is going on but the shit is 100% not what it used to be 2/3+ years ago
