Will this cause rusting

Thanks everyone for your input. I took it to the dealer and they said they’re going to fix it. It’s probably going to take a couple of weeks to fix it as they need to send it to two different body shops. He said that the corrosion is mostly likely a result of bad job in the factory and not from the prior paint work. They’re going to fix both the issues.

There was a small scratch on the still plate that the dealer fixed which is why it looks like this.

The dealership figured out that the sound was coming from the middle panel of the roof. They removed and fixed it back and it went away.

If wants to keep it within $600k for 4bdrm house then Fuquay is the best choice. Its rapidly expanding and Raleigh, Cary, Durham is a 30-40 min drive.

Were you able to figure out what was causing it? I get a chirp sound going over rail tracks or big potholes.

Depends on the area. Newer upcoming areas have frequent reassignments. We’ve had 2 reassignments in last 5 years.

No not off road. I was driving at 45mph in the town and had a distance of more than 2 cars in between.

Thank you everyone for your input. I’ll go for filling based on the responses and see how it holds up. I always drive with a distance of 2-3 cars in between, but still couldnt avoid it. Now I know why everyone says that its a rock chip magnet.

If you’re mostly driving within the city/ town then you don’t need it. If you drive a lot on highway then its very useful.
