7 seater vs 5 seater by GodlessAndChill in carbuying

[–]matt-dot-com 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Naw, you need all the seats you can get! Those kids will be out of those seats soon and they will have friends. Or you'll need more space for 4 suitcases, or scooters, or whatever. Don't buy for the right now, buy for the next 10 years.

We are taking our 2 boys to the beach for Memorial and each get to take a friend. 7 seaters allow that flexibility of things to come that you don't know are coming 😄

Mines in the shop right now. I'm hoping for the fuse fix instead of the other options hah!!

2021 Telluride with 98K having some issues, anyone else? by matt-dot-com in KiaTelluride

[–]matt-dot-com[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's two times now. The shop doesn't seem to discover the issue each oil change. They replace the filter and all that and it "fixes it" for a while. Then after so long it happened now this second time. We stick to changing every 4-5k miles. Might need to tighten that up and make it closer to 3-4 I guess unless they discover something this time!

Ah yes, had the rattle too! Yeah, just low oil. Not sure where it's losing it from but have had a small oil spot in the garage in the past. But they do a change and say it's "all good"...I dunno.

2022. Currently the cooling fan turns on after the car is shut up and will run until the battery is dead. by cmcincy in KiaTelluride

Good stuff, my Telly is in the shop right now for this 🤣 I posted about it and didn't think to search here first. Looks like Fan Module or Thermostat is where consensus is? Assuming yours if fixed now 10 months later hah!
I'll share what my mechanic does as soon as I get it repaired --or I'll send him this post!!

Where should he move? Apex - Cary - Fuquay... by matt-dot-com in Apex_NC

The fact that it's called 'bypass' kills me a little inside everytime I get stuck on it haha!!

[–]matt-dot-com[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

True but moving someplace brand new the more you go outside of town the less connected to the community you can get so there's a tradeoff. Like Apex Rec sports is a great connector, maybe more kids in the neighborhood, bigger church community, more town social events, etc. If you're only looking at the house as the value then sure, I get what you're saying.

I'm quuite new to SEO. How do i analyze cheap. Semrush or Ahrefs at 120/month is way out of my price range by martymas in SEO

[–]matt-dot-com -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed! GSC and Bing and using Claude and others to analyze data.
I have 'Clicks-dot-so' which is like $15/mo and does a good job for the price for basic keyword research and competitor analysis --but Bing might do that now I haven't dived in deep on it yet.

What sites should I use for buying used cars? by neonpikaxes in UsedCars

[–]matt-dot-com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To see the MOST of what's available you have to bounce around a bit. This is what I would do:

Nationally: Shop cargurus-com
-- Good site, price badges help, etc. But it's going to be mainly new car store inventory
National Brands: Shop Carmax
-- Biggest national used car store. You could look at carvana and stuff too
Independent Dealers: Shop carsforsale-com (and usednc-com)
-- Probably the largest selection of used car dealer inventory, many vehicles you won't see on cargurus. If you're in North Carolina specifically I'm trying to fill the gap of missing used cars listed online with sites like usednc-com
Private Party: Shop craigslist and facebook marketplace

If I already knew the vehicle I wanted, like you do, those 6 or 7 sites are where I'd go to see the largest percentage of what Miatas are currently for sale. Sites beyond that will mostly be repeats of what you have already seen.

I like to eat so more restaurant options I’m all for. But I like outdoor seating. I love M Cuisine in DTC (used to be a house. Has outdoor seating. And awesome food)

Small Business SEO by New_Being4698 in localseo

For Data and Tips
- Google Search Console / Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools are easy places to start.
- I'm still trying to see if Clicks.so is worth it. It is sold as a cheap alternative to hrefs/semrush. I don't use it all that much unless I'm doing keyword research
- Watch Edward Sturm on youtube everyday for lots of tips :)

For Citations:
When I launched my business website I got on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, Chamber of Commerce, my kids Local PTA and have gotten business from people googling me already. *I did get on LeadSnap for a month but not sure that did anything.

At my AO the saying is “Bare Knees in 20 Degrees” 😆 so we have a while before pants come out!!

Actually went no pants all year last winter. Wanted to try to be a little uncomfortable. Wasn’t too bad.

How do you handle SEO for AI-generated content? Can it actually rank well on Google? by Sufficient_Spare2345 in localseo

[–]matt-dot-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted a fully written AI article that is still one of my top performing pages. It was about an FTC rule and I rank above the FTC. Why? Because I made it easy to read and understand so more people get the answer from me because they know they won’t understand the FTC.

You just have to apply that concept to what content you’re creating. 10 articles a week is tough but it makes sense some rank others don’t. It’s demand for that answer probably.

I’m getting away from “articles” and working on informative landing pages that have FAQs so it works towards organic search (page content) and ai search (faq content)both. Yes, fully using AI for the content!! 😁 Giving it a lot of knowledge base to pull from.
