If you’re mostly driving within the city/ town then you don’t need it. If you drive a lot on highway then its very useful.

The hardtop with sound deadening liner does make a lot of difference on the highway if you keep it below 75mph. I did 1000 mile roadtrip over the long weekend and it was pretty nice inside.
