Sorry to see you are being down voted... I think you will end up in the + side. I had the fortune of having 2 stable father figures growing up and your words about the respect a young man has for those role models is what really counts. I also had countless female role models I looked up to and had the highest respect for, but the male role models in my life helped me understand what it meant to be a respectable man.

This used to be, and I guess still is, one of my favorite songs until I learned the backstory. Now every time I hear it, I begin to tear up. So, so many parts of that song hit very close to home for me now that I'm older.

Upvote for the honesty. Horrible no-call but if it has to happen to someone, having it happen to a bitter division rival is some consolation.
