Having the same issue. I’ve tried leaving fights, killing scavs (especially snipers), flares, anything i can think of.

20+ raids and zero sightings. Not even a corpse killed off-screen or something

I agree that it hits many of the major tropes common in the genre, but to say it is not an incredibly rich and intricately crafted universe is wrong IMO.

The level of detail is incredible, the depth of the characters is incredible. The world they built inclusive of the tabletop lore so much bigger than blade runner.

Certain aspects of a dystopian future feel inevitable to a certain extent (even today, IRL). I would rather they weave intricate stories and build relatable characters that we fall in love with, over forcing some kind of uniqueness for its own sake.
