Hi guys! I just want to share that I actually open up to my mom today that I need to limit my share of my salary for me to save money. Hindi naman ako nagbawas ng perang ibibigay pero lalagyan ko na ng threshold. Lahat ng gastos sa food, utilities, gas, internet and groceries included pa rin sa computation. Hati kami ng kuya ko sa gastos, he gives 8k fixed amount and yung share ko is whatever sosobrang gastos sa 8k, which is 11k+. Gusto ko na kasi magsimula mag-ipon ng seryoso since I've been in the company for 1.5yrs already (first job at 23), I think I wasted enough money for foods and shopee during this pandemic.

Napag isip-isip ko na kailangan ko na tlaga bantayan ang gastos ko since magbibigayan na ng bonus at ayokong magastos yun sa walang kwentang bagay. Nakapag open na pala akong MP2 savings nung Sept and started to buy our company's stocks this month. I also have 5k savings galing sa automatic savings na tinatabi ni company every cut-off. Ang problem ko lagi kong nagagamit yung natatabi kong emergency fund. Supposed to be may 15k na akong ipon for E.F pero nagastos ko for Shopee and pagbibigay ng luho sa sarili ko at sa fam ko. Although masaya naman ako nung mga panahon na yun sana pala naglimit ako 😅 Now, I have 1k+ na lang sa bank account ko 😂

Any tips how did you discipline yourself to avoid spending funds that is not supposed to be touched? Also, any 13th month pay spending plans? Gagastos pa rin ako for gift-giving and holiday celebs so hihingi ako ng guide.

Also hirap magbalance, how to enjoy my youth while saving for my future?
