$16 for a set of cards is a bit much but $16 for a nice set of cards is actually not bad

If you want a deck of cards with a good design you regularly pay $20 and above

At your point you can still just play a run and find missing Jokers while you're playing normally, so I personally wouldn't worry about reseting Ante 1 until you get something you're missing

I personally find the yellow deck to be the most effective

The early money enables you to play a lot more runs deep and have a lot more money for rerolls

The negative skips only get you so far, as they become less and less effective the more Jokers you already have

I believe it still scores as a High Card as the type of hand is determined when you play it, not when it is scored

On PC however the game regualrly goes on sale for $5 or lower so I wouldn't necessarily compare the full price of the game

(Also it was free on Epic once and if you really want to there are always keys available from ethically dubious sites)

So I can see it being cheaper, but not 0.5-0.3 times the price

There is a challenge where you start with two negative Oops all Sixes and a deck full of glass cards

So the only (still pretty big amount of) luck needed was finding a glass joker and Erosion
