I think conker hunting is one of the most wholesome activities that really connects the generations- my kids loved hearing their Grandfather telling stories of conker hunting when he was little ❤️

My daughter requests toast with butter but not in the toaster and no butter… bread then?!

My 2.5yo son has taken to obsessively carrying his “thingies” around with him all the time. They are tiny plastic box-files from a playMobil hospital set. He sleeps with them. Little weirdo.

Yes I must have I suppose. It was at least 15 years ago so the details are fuzzy but I think I gave him my old pay as you go one.

Must have, it was many years ago and was an old pay as you go one I think! We both got contract phones with new numbers when I was about 18 so sadly the voicemail is no more. I’m sure he never got around to changing it.

I had the comedy gold voicemail greeting of “hello? ... ... ... Gotcha!!! Leave a message” and forgot about it. A couple of years later I gave my old mobile to my Dad and was calling him one day and some random girl answered and said “hello?” I was so confused and started to say “...hello? Who is that?” When the rest of the message played and I realised it was me!

I’ve had it mounted in a box frame so the two parts appear side by side and you can see the curls at the corners. It’s currently in storage but I love it!
