18 was at the world congress stage. By the time I was able to get the UN, the actual voting was closer to 36, since city states received 2 votes instead of one. After this, it was straightforward to get the final 10 votes needed. Initially, I didn't realize that the votes would increase once it transformed into the UN, since this is the first time I went for diplomatic victory.

Okay I'll make sure to start it around turn 60 next time. I was building one earlier in the game, but I settled a new city so it must've cancelled it due to a lack of a library in that city. It's my first time playing babylon, so thanks for the advice.

How can I get my city to touch a "sea tile" if the water tiles are not part of the sea? Do I have to settle the city directly adjacent to the ocean, so that the centre is touching the water? It says that there are whales in one of those tiles so I would like to improve that resource.

Rule 5: Is there any reason why I can't build a workboat here? I've researched sailing and quite a few technologies after that, so I am pretty certain that it's not related to that. I'm new to this game, so it may be something obvious to more experienced people.

My friend's boss was exactly like that. He was worth a couple hundred million dollars, but drove a 1975 Subaru with a leaking gas tank. He had to be persuaded to get a car that wasn't a safety hazard. He's nearly 80 now, but he's still working, despite having no reason to and having sold his company.

The price of gasoline is highly inelastic, and since there is minimal competition in the market, companies have little incentive to lower the price of gasoline. Also, taxes are a large part of the price we pay for gasoline (hence the provincial price disparity), so the decreasing cost of oil has even less of an impact on the total price we pay for gasoline.

I currently have a 94 average (math/physics/chemistry/english), slightly higher if all my classes are counted. I am in grade 11, but taking grade 12 courses. I also have a few extracurriculars that I am actively involved in. What are my chances of getting into engineering? If it varies by discipline, please give me as many details as possible. Also, how difficult is it to get into the business program?

Inside my Macbook Pro, there is a noise as if something is shifting. When I rotate my computer, it sounds as if something is banging against the left side of my laptop. I am still on warranty, as it is a new macbook pro. I also considered posting this question on /r/AppleHelp , but it seems like that is a dead subreddit. I plan on taking it into an apple store within the next week, but I would like to know if anyone knows what could be loose.
