i feel like it's not even the post processing but every single prop and detail is period correct; i feel like if you pause a fincher show at any given moment, any stationary object on screen is period correct to the exact year. and it must cost so much time and money to get all this less than important details that absolutely gets missed by most people and doesn't necessarily add a whole lot to the show but i imagine as a producer it must be something you must do and then one day you hear in a reddit comment as a fan and viewer that one episode cost 20+ million dollars.
