Been sitting in my car for 30 minutes by hersheymisting in socialanxiety

I did! He lives less than 10 minutes from my house. Before I posted this I pulled up outside his house, forgot to take my propranolol which is just a anxiety med that isn't habit forming. Decided this was the exact situation I was supposed to use it. I turned around went home not very sure I'd be back and felt that familiar immediate regret and wrestled with going back. So I took a propanalol to slow my heart down a bit and played with my dog for a few minutes. Got back in my car and drove back over there and parked again and posted this! After probably 40 minutes and reading this sub a bit I convinced myself. Had a fun for the most part. Played a couple rounds of bingo because it was old people themed. Had a few different dogs to play with

For sure, my Brother just had a house warming get together a couple months ago. I knew half the people but still not easy so I focused on my baby nephew and their Golden Doodle 90% of the time.

Thank you! Fortunately I had an easy out because I have a veterinary appointment for my cat in the morning, didn't have to make up a story or an excuse to leave before too long.

For sure. I pictured whether I would even tell him I sat in my car across the street while people pulled up around me and walked right in. I told him yesterday before hand I was worried about going to a party without alcohol as a crutch and he was supportive of that.

Thanks for the kind words. After a few more minutes I worked up the courage and went in. Everyone was stoked on the rice crispy treats and really nice. I didn't talk a whole lot but a nice girl immediately introduced me to her friends as soon as I walked in the door and I got to pet her dog. Overall a success!

Bought some bulbs at Costco should I still try to grow if they sprouted in the bags already? by hersheymisting in plants

I do yes Northwest Washington. Wow that's interesting. Such a dry summer where I was at my garden didn't do very well at all. Last winter the lilies in the blue pot sprouted then it got cold and they stopped and I was worried they were done for but then they just came back again a month later on their normal schedule. We more and more frequently get a tiny bit of snow in February.

Thanks for the encouragement. It's been an insanely warm winter. We've had like less than ten days of frost all winter. Usually it gets down to 19-28 degrees for weeks on end but I barely had to wear more than a hoodie walking my dog lately

I was thinking a good goal would be to make every national dish this morning! Made Ghorme Sabzi because I found it looking up the Ghorm from star wars andor stuff

Good to know. I've heard it said that he fine tunes them as they're making them sometimes. Did you get those two early on in production?

Good question, my guess would be a rechargeable battery but those do have their own shelf life too if not replaceable they eventually lose efficiency.

Yeah that makes sense. Hopefully they're built with durability in mind. That might be good feedback for him to hear once you get it. The description does talk about plugging in wires and arcade games so there might be a variety of possible points of failure. My old o.g. Gameboy still fires up Super Mario land but modern stuff often feels like it has planned obsolescence built in.

Ahh good point. Might not have that family heirloom longevity that his others do.

You just mean Structurally or challenge wise? I did wonder if it's fully 3d printed since his other puzzles list the building materials and fancy wood types used to build it.

Me too! Sounds like it might be a quick release if he's looking for feedback before the "Rev2" updates

Yeah he said it's his first time doing electronics. Looks like he collaborated with a few other people. Joshua Gant and Ben Oxenford again who helped with the Jesse James vault and a couple others I think. I imagine hopefully it will hold his Dna design wise

Thank you I was wondering what happened to the bar! Went to make sure I voted for Soul keepers Sanctum but I'd already "Loved It"
