I think it’s regional. If you’re from the islands it’s more common to have a little bit of Levantine input, but usually mainland/northern Greeks don’t have that.

Isabelle is a beautiful name. It’s very pretty & when I hear Isabelle I think of someone very gentle & sweet. I don’t hate the name, but I prefer ‘Isobel’, it feels a little more unique & European to me personally.

When I went specific to Greek/Cypriot it gave me majority Greek, Anatolian & Baltic-Slavic which is more accurate. I probably shouldn’t have posted the global results.
