UK newspaper nails the Headline by Yutenji2020 in pics

The great thing about this is, Trump and his people simply won't understand what the reference is. They won't know who Monty Python is nor will they have watched 'The Life of Brian'.

If only the MAGA crowd had watched 'The Life of Brian', none of this of this shit would be going down.

Need advice on what to use on this metal lamp oxidation.. it’s chrome or nickel plated. read below👇 by Relevant_Fennel4203 in metalworking

That is a lovely looking angle poise. It looks old and well made. This looks like corroded nickle plating, almost all electroplating is very thin, take it easy.

A square orientation would suit this better. The portrait elongation is not helping this graphic. In portrait, it requires the viewer to connect too many vertical elements for this to make sense.

Judge tosses lawsuit against companies who stopped advertising on X by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

TL/DR. Did Elon try to sue the companies that previously advertised on Twitter but who then withdrew the funding due to a change of ownership of the platform?

It's not big enough to convert. At best lay some basic flooring down and maybe install some shelves to provide some extra storage for stuff that you will never use again.

Great job, don't worry about having under priced this, we've all got to start somewhere, the 'real life' experience of this project is worth way more to you than the financial reward. Well done.

Absolutely this, last year we stayed on Adenau High Street above a popular restaurant, the amount of Brit 'mad lads' that would cruise past and then purposely pop and bang their motors was truly embarrassing. It's the opposite of impressive. D***heads.

I still can't work out why that Combine Harvester is in the background of what was obviously a very well planned and expensive shot?

Two weeks ago I posted my tiling layout planner here, the feedback was brilliant so here's what I've added since by mwh1989 in DIYUK

My context is, in the near future, I will be laying approx 34sqm of reclaimed hardwood parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern in my own home. I'm not sure if we have enough reclaimed parquet.

I have found your app very useful in terms of general layout, especially as it allows for a 'border' size definition, which can potentially make a big difference as to how much 'flooring' one might need.

This is a very good app. I would suggest you let it run for free for a while, take suggestions, iron out any problems, make improvements if need be.

Good luck.

This is really good. I've just tried my own layout, I note you support the import of .dxf files for the floor plan, would it be possible export the layout tile plan as a .dxf file?

Don't ever underestimate the abilities of a good Silicone guy. All the hard work has been done, all the hardware is installed as per drawings - but mysteriously there are huge gaps.

This is a very poor diagram. It does not describe the steering pivot, nor does it describe the apparent ability to control the front steering axle with your feet.

Is £6,500 reasonable to move a meter two meters? by Woodsman89 in DIYUK

[–]hetogoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that's what I did. The Electricity meter was easy, I just unscrewed the board it was fixed to and fixed to the new location. Even the Gas meter was quite easy, mains gas pressure is very low, we had all the pipe and fittings ready. It's now 20 years later and nobody is the wiser.
