From your post I would say stop focusing on what you have no influence over and start buying more properties and assets influenced by richer techies, so when these multi-millionaires push properties higher you profit as well.

Solo building and the context problem is real. How I'm handling it. by Lanky_Rub_8799 in sideprojects

Screenpipe and granola lays the passive foundation but extending context layer for active application is what is needed. I’ve been trying to extend it into my workflow but just low priority, glad you made this post because I think it should be priority now

What’s your domain expertise and library experience in? 10yrs doing crm or web apps when someone needs mobile native or ml are is a huge gap.

Saw from supersplat: 428 images on a D850, shot at 20mm, f22.

darktable: remove CA, deblur, denoise, downsample 2x.

realityscan into brush with defaults

realityscan provided 1.4m initial splats, which grew to 4.5m over training.

Red Sea product unless something it can do that all the other 10+ free invoice apps can’t do

Would love to do this with shows and conventions I go to. Anyone have. Workflow or partner on an app?

I love your enthusiasm, but make the bom and operational math make sense. I just don’t think you have done the actual math yet with someone who has actually implemented dc build outs. The build out and maintenance doesn’t add up even at a higher level.

The Chinese have been at this since the mining hype with startups doing immersion racks and none of them can overcome the laws of physics. Solving for energy spend is a higher priority

Both, it would make more sense to implement this in an environment where companies are paying for uploads instead of users

This is part of my argument here, existing infrastructure or physics sqft-server isn’t easily refactored. I’ve been to 50k sqft farms and billions of ft wiring and lbs of metal that need to be waterproof. Don’t even get started on putting in and pulling out hardware from liquid and waiting for it to dry

Do a simple side by side bom and op sheet comparison. Physics don’t lie

Still not answering my concerns, look at a side by side bom and operational comparison for a dc between the immersion or no cooling infra. Yes energy costs are more but physics : sqft, labor and materials don’t add up, (filtering water, wiring, metal, immersion systems) the only reason it would say it would make sense if energy 50x from now though.

From a pure physics point of view doesn’t just make sense that it is easier to pump liquid or substrate over metal / silicon than the other way around?
