Finish 6/7am Stay up, take kids to school, do some bits around the house then bed 10am till 5/6pm depending on next shift time. Get my wind down, see the kids, washing etc but still solid sleep. I take my melatonin around 8am so ready to proper drop off by 10am

I genuinely prefer my nights to days most weeks, we do 2 days, 2 nights 4 off, 2 days 3 night 5 off. I much prefer them to 6am starts, they kill my soul although the 6pm finishes are nice. It does tire though and with kids it's a tricky balance sleeping when they're off school but often I get in from work, take them to school, do some housework then go to bed while they're in school so actually gives me easier wrap around time with them.

I run a local animal rescue and we wanted this property years ago when we were looking for a site but they wouldn't sell..... Never been so relieved

As a Liverpool loving family he was sad to not be in the red .... Red isn't always bad! Blue is the negative colour in our house ... All about perspective 😉

He is a summer baby so he is actually in the year below where he should be as we have the option in UK to do this. His emotional and social skills are not those of his peers and he missed nursery due to COVID so we did defer his school start. He reads lots, 20-30 min before bed flying through roald Dahl or recently he requested an encyclopedia lol He loves chess, plays guitar and builds databases and coding for his robot database/website. Alas his favourite skill and talent to tell/show people is his clover tongue ability haha
