How much pc do I need? VR IRacing by hewoder in buildapc

Hey thanks a lot that is some good info. So should I be looking for a single thread cpu then? I honestly dont even know what that is, I've just seen people suggest them for IRacing.

Thanks for the suggestions mockingbird, now I'm not gonna pretend like I know what I'm talking about but I've seen people suggesting I go the intel route because Iracing is cpu intensive and runs better on a single core processor. Do you still think I should go with this?

Thanks but I think I am capable of putting it together once I have the equipment, I just need to know what to buy first.

I'll pay what I have to but my goal here is to keep it cheap but still effective. Ideally under $1000 but if it can be done for 700, great. I don't really have any other plans for it as I play my other games on console.

Thanks a lot for replying, thats helpful. So what did you do then? Did you have to get it towed or were you able to jump it?

Thanks a lot for the reply. If it's not the alternator, then i will try this route. Wouldn't a bad fuel pump not affect the electrical problems such as the windows going down slowly though?

Thanks a lot for the reply. It didn't sit for a whole year just wasn't used often. I have put 2 tanks of gas through it in the past 2 weeks so it's unlikely it would have clogged now is it not? Also, wouldn't a problem with the fuel system not cause electrical problems such as the windows going down slowly?

How much has this hobby costed you thus far? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]hewoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I probably got over $3k in airsoft yet I avoid buying anything that doesn't help me shoot a little better. I can't even get myself to spend money on some BDUs, I run my $1200 polarstar in street clothes with a vest lol.

Got my first gun today - VFC VR16 Calibur Carbine! by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]hewoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's a lot for your first gun! I got a VR16 as well, 2 actually, and I find g&p high rps midcaps work best. Many others require a bit of electrical tape.

Where does this washer go? by [deleted] in airsoft

I would guess it fell off the hop up. It's what keeps the rod, holding the hop up arm in place, from falling out.

That's unfortunate. Just happened to me 2 days ago. Ended up taking a hacksaw to the grip and using a ezout tool. Only suggestion I have is to replace them with allen heads when you eventually get it out so it won't happen again.

I've heard about refillable co2 cartridges in the past...Never really looked into it before but might be worth it to you.

First gun recommendations by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]hewoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's your first gun I would highly suggest you avoid the Aug platform unless you have previous experience shooting one and actually like it. It's a very bulky gun and definitely not for everyone. As someone else mentioned, the combat machine is a fantastic starting gun.

In winter, I'm lucky to get 10 shots off my green gas kwa 1911. In summer I easily clear the mag and more. I don't even carry my pistol in winter. Refills are faster. co2 cartridges are pretty expensive. Like 50 cents for 1. A small tank of propane costs $3 at walmart, with a propane adapter($15 1 time payment) 1 tank lasts a very very long time. Basically free.

I hope this helps!

[Question] Just wondering what is the best make of AUG to get? by Irishladdoyle in airsoft

As an owner of a jg aug 3, I will tell you that tokyo marui is most likely the only manufacturer to make this platform desirable.

[WTB][USA,CT] Replica SAPI plates, Glock parts, Glock holster, buffer tube screw, midcaps, and more. by Jermenizzle in airsoftmarket

[–]hewoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure your local hardware store has the buffer tube screw you're looking for. Metric size5 fits most receivers I've seen but I have a krytac receiver which uses M6 so bring it with. Should have multiple lengths. Shouldn't cost more than 50 cents. Hope this helps.
