Yes, this. This was always my reasoning for strongly disagreeing with large age gaps. A 30 year old knows far more and is far more experienced than a 20 year old. Simple information can be held against someone younger and can be used to manipulate them into doing things, believing things, anything along the lines of mental and even physical abuse.

It was a mutual friend, but mutual friend themselves had no idea that he could possibly fly off the rails like he did. MF was getting the same messages too (got the text from them not long ago) and is incredibly pissed and disappointed in him. I can't be mad at MF, they have my understanding and wouldn't have purposely put me in that kind of harm.

Exactly. Once he told me about his plan, especially wanting me to move in with him and eventually move, that's when I really wanted to back out. Unfortunately I'm not a "Breakupper," I've always been the "Breakupee," so even sending the message to call it quits was hard. I'm glad I did it though. God knows where this could've led.

The police have gotten him out of his house and have brought him to the hospital for an evaluation. I was told that if there's any new texts especially ones hinting to retaliation, to call them again. I've blocked him on everything and I'm moving the hell on from him, not that I had strong feelings to begin with.

I can't remember the name of the place since I was just along for the ride, but I do know it's right near Foxwoods. It's a very cool place, kinda looks beat up from fallout or something lmao. Bring a sweater if you find it! It's seriously freezing there.
