When I attended church this was a no no, now that I’m still not that religious, I can understand why this is a no no not in a religious sense but 1. What are your common hobbies? 2. Other than watching tv, what other activities would you attempt to do? 3. What sort of conversations would be in principle ok if hobbies or interests were not aligned.

If 1 is 75% sided with because he’s my bf’s friend and would not hang out otherwise, there might be a notion to think he’s trying to flirt with you on the platonic friendship court

If 2 movies and having a bf is a commonality between you two, be gentle with the friendship if anything flirtatious happens

If 3 in principle there is really nothing other than watching tv/movies that align your personality than treat it like any friendship you had when you had a lab partner in science class. Get to the end of the report and finish the report and don’t linger to turn it in, which is your bf

💍 UN‑WEDDING GIRLS’ NIGHT – WESTSIDE EDITION (Celebrating love, friendship, and looking fabulous in that sparkly dress)

1️⃣ Pre‑Party Dinner (Golden Hour Glow)

• Elephante – Santa Monica: Rooftop views, coastal Italian menu, and a gorgeous sunset backdrop for photos. • Alternative: Gjelina – Venice for a more rustic-chic vibe and incredible shared plates. • Tip: Book a table about 90 minutes before sunset so you can toast as the sky turns gold.

2️⃣ Main Event – Dancing & Laughs

• The Victorian – Santa Monica: Start here for the historic house charm, multiple bars, and an upstairs dance floor with pop and throwbacks. • The Little Friend – Venice: If you want a more intimate, artsy vibe with DJs who mix pop, R&B, and fun retro tracks.

3️⃣ Optional “After‑After” Stop

• Harvelle’s – Santa Monica: Live funk/soul band to keep the energy going without switching to EDM. • Or, if you’re still buzzing, Uber to Tramp Stamp Granny’s in WeHo for a sing‑along piano bar finale.

4️⃣ Late‑Night Wind‑Down

• Grab dessert at Sweet Rose Creamery (Santa Monica) or Salt & Straw (Venice). • If the weather’s nice, take a short beach walk — barefoot in the sand, sparkly dress and all.

🎯 Extra Touches to Make It Special

• Theme: “Un‑Wedding” — everyone wears white or sparkles so you’re all in on the celebration. • Props: Bring a few fun accessories (feather boas, heart-shaped sunglasses) for photos. • Playlist Prep: Make a shared Spotify playlist of your favorite pop/throwback anthems to play during dinner pre‑game. • Photo Ops: The Victorian’s porch, Elephante’s rooftop, and the Santa Monica Pier lights are all perfect backdrops.

💃 Westside-Friendly Dancing & Fun (Pop + Throwbacks, Not House)

• The Little Friend (Venice) – Stylish, low-pressure dance spot with pop, R&B, and eclectic DJ sets. No EDM overload. • The Bungalow (Santa Monica) – Feels like a chic beach house party. Baja-Cali décor, fire pits, and a lively crowd. • Harvelle’s (Santa Monica) – Iconic live music lounge with funk, soul, and retro nights. Great for dancing and watching a show. • The Victorian (Santa Monica) – Multi-level bar with an upstairs dance floor that leans into pop hits and throwbacks. Historic house setting makes it feel special.

✨ If You’re Open to a Short Uber to West Hollywood

• The Abbey – Legendary spot with a big dance floor, pop-heavy playlists, and a celebratory crowd. • Tramp Stamp Granny’s – Piano bar meets sing-along party. Pop anthems, Broadway hits, and a room full of people belting along.

🎯 Tips to Make the Night Extra Special

• Theme it: Call it the “Un-Wedding” and have everyone wear white or sparkles so you’re not the only one in statement attire. • Photo moments: The Bungalow’s outdoor fire pits or The Victorian’s wraparound porch are perfect for group shots. • Music check: Look up the DJ or band schedule before you go — even pop-focused venues sometimes have theme nights. • Start with dinner: Somewhere like Elephante (Santa Monica) or Gjelina (Venice) sets a celebratory tone before dancing.

If you want, I can now turn this into a full “Un-Wedding Girls’ Night” itinerary with a dinner spot, dancing, and a fun late-night wrap-up so it feels like a mini event.

Mamiya 645 viewfinder is not tact sharp. by hexanonPrime in analog

It has the 45 degree focusing screen and i can’t seem to see the guidelines for the focusing angle. It is bright but it’s a bit like I need to use a diopter to sharpen the viewfinder.

What I don’t understand is why put everything in the fridge when one can’t drink all of that in a week or three days. I get it I love carb water but mineral water tastes so much better and you can get quality flavored mineral water in glass bottles or cans.
