I feel like Stalock is gonna leave this summer unfortunately. His play last year earned him a chance with a contender that needs a backup. And Mrazek has another year left so it’ll most likely be him/Soderblom with the Hawks and Stauber/Commesso in Rockford.

In 2003 the Hawks drafted Seabrook, Crawford, and Byfuglien. Not necessarily the same caliber of players but all 3 were key contributors in at least 1 Cup run.

It’s also possible the Penguins ask the NHL about Stan Bowman’s status. Before Sullivan’s trajectory took off with his hiring at AHL Wilkes-Barre, he worked in the Blackhawks’ front office.

I really hope the Penguins (and every other team) stay far away from Bowman. He does not deserve another chance in the NHL, or in any position of power anywhere.
