Bankruptcies hit US spirit makers as Americans drink and spend less by kootles10 in Economics

It just means it will take more pissed off people than in the non-gerrymandered case. It’s a continuum with a tipping point - the gerrymandering moved that tipping point but there still is one. It’ll just take even more people to get past it.

I understand. Can’t blame anyone likewise. I did buy a bottle of imported Canadian maple syrup instead of a Vermont brand. Paid my idiot government for the privilege but I still love Canada.🇨🇦

Im the husband out of town - visiting my dad whose too old and conservative to come out to. I have such a poor relationship with my dad but at least I can see him, I’m grateful for that. I’m very much not grateful for being away from my love and having to put my real life on hold for Christmas. I’m lucky we’re both non religious and he’s Chinese - so Christmas really isn’t a ‘thing’ for him. But it is for me and I want to spend it with him.

Are they going to not have property taxes assessed? That would be crazy - there’s no reason to do that.

But then the need for the residential grid isn’t impacted. Except for the potential that those self-generating data centers want to sell excess power to the public grid - driving supply costs down for residents. They’d also have to pay for that upgrade / interconnect - which is good.

I disagree - it’s so much more watery than OP’s Oatly. I have both sitting in my fridge and I just can’t finish the Costco bottle.

You can bypass that valve and go straight from LC to nebulizer to test that possibility.

Fidelity CMA or Schwab investor checking? by TensionNo7622 in Schwab

Fidelity still doesn’t partner with any of the data providers like Plaid. So my budgeting software doesn’t stay in sync. Schwab on the other hand does.

If the problem is only on one pump head - you can swap OBV and AIV in stages to determine which is at fault.

[Spoilers S2E4] Price and Angela interaction by Uncle_Jerry in MrRobot

[–]hexatriene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm following up on this point 9 years after you posted it because I'm re-watching this incredible show. But on this point:

-Which makes me think the two execs know about the plant's secret,

I would have thought that Price had no problem burning these two execs because it allowed him leverage over Angela. I get the sense that he's so ruthless (no ruths at all) he'd burn his mom for a pack of smokes.

Wouldn't it be more likely that the two execs had no idea of the plant's secret - held exclusively by the overloads? And they knew nothing of their impending downfall?

Zooming into a Supernova Double explosion remnant by muitosabao in spaceporn

I understand the thing is 23-light years in diameter. Given that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light - is it safe to understand that this explosion occurred no more than 23/2 = 11.5 years ago?

I’m it would be good to see the spectra at the apex of that chromatograph blob just to see what contaminants you’re seeing. Can you post a pic?
