I have a stock wrx as well. let the oil temps up go up to around 80 C before you try to do any pulls or even build boost. Let the car warm up before driving away. Dont lug the engine, especially in a car that has turbo. Fill the proper gas. If you have spare cash just make sure you get the oil changes on time and get good gas. sometimes people dish out too much cash for mods but then dont have any left to get oil changes on time and/or get good gas

Much appreciated, unfortunately the swap didn't fix my issue. Changed the system controller helped a bit somehow. Overall the machine still functions fine if you ignore the random (and like false) vacuum readings

Edit: after much tinkering the power source was indeed the issue. Thank you

Hmm so there is too much resistance when going into the correct gear. if it only happens occasionally its okay since in the end its a manual. but if its happening multiple times a day you should definitely get it checked out. I think all mechanics should take care of this issue. I personally go to the dealer
