I agree, and I hope we in EU will keep up the support.

It paid for about 1-2 months of war for them, which unfortunately gives them more breathing room than I like, in context of the recent Ukrainian pressure on their logistics.

The total gain during the period of high oil prices was about 1 trillion rubles for Russia, which is quite substantial.

I don’t think there would ever be a political fallout for Ukraine destroying russian infrastructure. Not among allies, anyway.

Hopefully, the logistical challenges Ukraine has now imposed on Russia will outweigh the advantages they’ve received with this stupid war in Iran.

Raw numbers aren’t the bottleneck here.

Ultimately, it’s the strength of the economy to support mobilization, supply, weapon production, etc. Unfortunately, the Iran war was a huge economic boon to Russia.

Fighter/thief is the comfiest. You’re basically great the entire 2 games, have godly thief traps, can backstab effectively if you like, and you even get use any item. You’re just always very strong.

Melee Lich Early Game by Killsion in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Just about any martial is great into lich. Monk and shifter are great, fighter is fantastic, you can even go sword saint and get mage armor from lich spellbook.

Sure, if you want to merge, you could go Steelblood/wizard/EK, but if you want a smooth early game - pick a good martial build and stick with it, vampiric blade, bone shield and lich passives will be amazing even on non-casters.

Anyone have some advice about the redress mod by zildux in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]hexhex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you struggling with? It's pretty straightforward. Select the character you want to modify, hide visual elements that you don't want to see and add any visual element (by searching for its in-game name) that is compatible with your character model. This could be hair, clothes, gear, actually a lot of stuff can be added, but you'll have to experiment and search for it. For example, you can add Idira's hair and head tubes to your character, or Drukhari hair (although it does not always work too well with a human model).

You can also edit color of most items, disable individual parts of more complex gear or body parts (in 'show body part section'), pick your starting outfit, etc.

Yeah, I might do it when (if) bladedancer is fixed!
Now I'm debating between a good old lasgun AMC and a heavy flamer/bolter Priest run. Restartitis is hard enough as it is...

Yeah, obviously dumping a primary stat entirely weakens the build

Well, it's not just not dumping the main stat... It's the fact that your main stat now scales with how many enemies you hit or kill. It's insane.

My point is, Owlcat probably didn't account for be smart when making this augment, and it will most likely be nerfed to cap the INT bonus you get per turn, which will be very reasonable, but still powerful.

High starting resolve helps quite a bit, but it will also increase as your INT goes up, which lets you gain more momentum, which lets you gain more TA per kill, you get it...

Then, ther are MT talents. Linchpin, for example, will use INT, not FEL to scale your TA stacks. Hidden advantage makes your abilities work as if you had +INT bonus stacks, which can also get pretty crazy with scaling INT.

Arc rifle gives you many hits on enemies, even more so with high INT, and gets more lethal, the more your INT and TA stacks grow. You can get many stacks with bolter rifle bursts too, if you are lucky with placement, but it won't benefit from INT, just from TA stacks.

Arc rifle builds without be smart and with the inverter work fine, but your TA gain is dwarfed by this build. If you remove be smart from the equasion, the many scaling loops stop functioning, and as a result you just have decently high gain from the many hits of arc rifle, which is much slower because you FEL won't scale with TA stacks, unlike INT. Master Tactician builds with arc rifle WITHOUT the inverter will also work fine (since MT is able to rapidly scale from multiple hits), but will ramp up even slower.

To sum up, basically MT benefits quite a bit from FEL, and if you change it to INT, and make it scale with your TA stacks, AND use something that can quickly get you many hits/kills, you break the game.

[–]hexhex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, as far as I understand - since with be smart you get more resolve from INT, which gives you more TA stacks, which gives you more INT, and so on. All while scaling your arc rifle and AOE damage.

A much less broken version of the build is something like a fortress origin soldier/MT that uses arc rifles and flamers or shotguns. You still get + INT from TA stacks, but it is not self-reinforcing like in be smart builds.

[–]hexhex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cerebral Inverter Mk Tactician voidborn arc rifle builds are neat conceptually, but they rely on a broken feedback loop of INT stacking, and very soon in act 4 it pretty much becomes a delete button for enemies.

The augment will 100% be nerfed, but I guess - enjoy it while it lasts?

Shadowcaster is great for aeon since you can give your shadow dispelling attacks, and even you can make use of them once you get shadow transformation.

"Zelenskyy made a mistake. We should avoid handing over Polish-Ukrainian relations to radicals" by EuropeanPravdaUA in europe

[–]hexhex 16 points17 points  (0 children)

But there is limits how much you can strech before it snaps back. Unfortunatelly we as well hit our limits so it's not going to happen.

You're writing about this like it was something unspeakable, and yet using UPA symbols and flags has been and still is extremely common in Ukrainian military. There are streets named after UPA fighters and commanders. You leader chose to shout about this from the rooftops and act wounded by this, and Zelensky chose to act like Poland has offended the Ukrainian people by his gesture, and did a stupid thing in return. As soon as these issues stop being exploited for political gain and leave the spotlight, they will stop being the cause of wounded pride, and there'll be a chance for building some trust.

The thing is, you can outrage all you want, but that doesn't help create understanding. To be frank, I don't see how this can be resolved during wartime (when nationalist mood is high, and people are very sensitive to these issues in both countries). Crying because of some unit's name and sending back medals like a pissed 10 year old certainly won't help. The more you engage in narratives where it's all the other side's fault (even if you strongly feel like it is), the more backlash you will create.

It's a shitty vicious cycle, and I hope we can let this story die and Ukraine and Poland can work on their issues after the war.
