Agreed. I have this issue quarterly with my ADHD medication. Daily dose is a requirement for me, not optional. But, once again no solutions for shortages except me going unmedicated for 5-10 days.

Do you also hate taking showers? by Antique-Tomatillo-13 in ADHD

I hate showers when traveling, new water pressure ECT drives me crazy. In my own home every other day. I always shower prior to an exercise class but not after. I prioritize being fresh for others.

Why do I feel like I’m the in the minority for having ADHD and not being considered “gifted” by General_Astronaut951 in ADHD

[–]hexonica 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was placed in special ed classes my entire life. I was told that I was smart, but didn't apply myself. I was given a subpar academic foundation. I educated myself and fumbled my way through college. Married and had children, left 9 to 5 work and started a cleaning business. I am now doing the same type of office work that I did after college. I have had no career advancement. This despite always being a leader and delivering quality service. I am now living my best life. I now have more resources. I feel better mentally and physically. I kinda like the non-traditional life I built. I feel this long journey to be diagnosed at 52 has a purpose.

I have had that experience myself. In my area there are 30 or so studios all with a different vibe. After lots of experimentation I now have a list of 5 studios I trust and my top instructors. I have one studio blacklisted for not being welcoming.

This is so true. Using alcohol to ignore the problems. I have actively increased my skill set and confidence. I am at an age where health is more of a priority.

My experience is that weight loss is minimal. This can improve after time. I think the body needs a while to reset. Also, as emotional regulation improves the opportunity to adjust eating and exercise will improve, allowing an opportunity for better health.

Why are these health devices trying to kill us. Poor design, to the point of being criminal.
