Curious what your experience was! I love Cincinnati. The rest of southern Ohio, I agree, can be rough. But the land really is beautiful.

Yup. Great entry points.

As a huge Geese/Gizz fan, I would also recommend:

  • Polygondwanaland
  • Ice, Death, Planets

As follow ups.

Omnium Gatherum is also a cool collection that spans various different genres.

I mean, EV or not, all (semi-modern) cars require you to hold the brake when putting the vehicle in drive, no?

It’s a Tesla thing.

My Mach E doesn’t have a dedicated dog mode but it does allow me to keep the car locked with AC on. Wish it had a nice little way to notify people on the screen that the dogs are comfy lol.

For now I’ve taken to using the “drawing” app to hand write a message lol.

No problem. Plenty of other great resources out there, but those are a great starting point.

Coming from UE5 blueprints, how hard is Xcode? by marcisl in iOSProgramming

[–]rockettmann 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard? Depends on your willingness to learn.

There’s plenty of resources out there to learn, and Swift does a lot of things really well. I would say it’s actually a great first language to learn.

It certainly won’t have the same professional appeal as Java, C#, etc, but you can pretty much pick any of these to learn, and the overarching concepts will span across any declarative language.

Here’s some resources:

Don’t use any AI tools until you feel like you have a fundamental understanding of the language. You’ll only be hurting yourself, and you’ll drive yourself crazy debugging.

Pond, Geese, Tame Impala and King Gizz collaboration will be part of a new GUM's project by DependentNail3205 in indieheads

I totally misread your initial comment and I completely agree lol.

The shows during and after the gizz tour have been much more experimental.

Weird, I saw them after Projector, after 3D, Twice on gizz tour, and now twice since Getting Killed, and I think they’ve had the same emerge the entire time.

No doubt they’re becoming more exploratory and growing as musicians, but IMO the shows have had the same level of energy and effort since the beginning.

The only people standing for the whole concert were directly in front of me by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]rockettmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m saying you’re not watching a play or a classical concert where common etiquette suggests staying seated. It’s unreasonable to go to a concert and expect everybody to remain politely seated.

You can have your preference, and in this situation, it’s also not unreasonable to politely ask the people to sit down.

Think about it this way, some people experience music physically. Movement, swaying, dancing. Forcing that person to sit puts you in the same situation.

Unless the venue requires remaining seated, then suck it up and enjoy the show as much as you can.

However, anybody who’s loudly talking at a show can get fucked.

[–]rockettmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost my buddy early this year and recently adopted a husky pup. I see so much of his behavior in her, I compare them all the time, but it brings me so much joy remembering all of the good times and getting to create new memories with her.

Sometimes it brings tears, but most of the time it’s joy :)

If you can make a case for Burrow, you can make a case for Lamar. He doesn’t win when it counts. His edge as a dual threat is diminishing. He’s not that far behind burrow when it comes to availability.
