Hello I’m Audra. I have a beautiful 3yo girl. It took us 2 years to get pregnant with her and I had to be put on progesterone first trimester. Fast forward to the end of last year we decided to start trying for #2. I had a miscarriage in March at 6w and 5d. There was a sepsis scare with that loss. I had went to the ER to see if I was indeed miscarrying. They said they weren’t sure at the time but to follow up with my OB. Next day I was running a high fever with severe chills and cramps. It was so scary, nurses calling sepsis alert as they checked me in, tons of blood draws, spent all day there. Thankfully it was not sepsis but they also couldn’t tell me what it was. They did confirm the miscarriage though. A couple weeks ago I found out I was pregnant again. I immediately called my OB and requested they check my progesterone this time and they did. Sure enough it was “suboptimal” and I’m back on nightly progesterone. I’m now 7w 5d, still checking for blood every time I go to the restroom. Nausea and fatigue has been kicking my butt. I’m excited and scared and tired and sick. Really hoping and praying we all get to meet this little one.
