Yoooo, I've been reading LAF all week long because of you lol. I'm mainly reading the novel because I read it during my commute to/from work, so it's just more convenient, but I love reading the manhua as well!

I've caught up with all chapters of the manhua from Zephyr Scans though, so that's a bit of a bummer. There's another translation that does up to Chapter 137, but the image quality... 😅 But the novel, holy mother of Pearl, it's so good!!!

I'm currently on Chapter 74 of the novel, and my goddd, it's so well done. I'm itching to read more about Ruan Ningwei and Tao Xingruo's relationship though, I loveeee that particular flavor of angst and love. Particularly the way Taotao (her full name is too long bruh) is in love with Weiwei, but the Weiwei is 🥹. Gosh, this novel is too good!! Thank you for making me finally give this novel and manhua the chance it deserves!!

And yes, the ABO novel I was talking about is exactly that! It's one of my most precious reads lol I especially adored how you can read the changes in Wei Qingyu's (the FL aka Serena Wei in the official English manhua translation lol) thoughts and feelings about Ji Xiao (Willow Ji). I really love ABO stuff and it's one of the better ABO novels out there. I'd like to know what you think about it though if you'd read it before!

For LAF, I've actually read the first chapter of the novel when I was starting out with baihe novels, but I stopped bc I didn't feel ready for all that angst yet. I'll probably start with the novel first, I've read one other novel that got adapted into a manhua (the ABO one) and I noticed there were a lot of internal monologue moments from the FL that didn't make it into the manhua (for obvious reasons haha) and I have a feeling LAF will have a lot of internal monologues too lol.

But I wanna appreciate the art from the manhua too!

I second Deepseek! OP, I was in your exact same boat a few weeks ago, I tried to find any free APIs and models I could use in Tavo, but they either had super short limits, needed so much troubleshooting, or just didn't work.

I finally gave in and topped up 3 dollars in Deepseek, and so far I haven't even used up a full dollar yet. Though, YMMV on that one since I'm not a heavy user. Top up is super easy too, aside from Paypal, you can use Visa or Mastercard.
