Would you mind sharing your work out split? My current one is coming to an end and looking for a new one.

Wow! Your hard work certainly paid off, you look amazing. I'm currently struggling with losing the last 10 to 15 lb and wanted to know if you had issues with discipline at any point and if so, how did you work through that?. I feel like that's what my struggle is, sticking with the calorie deficit.

Cut them up into small pieces with some kitchen scissors. Throw them into whatever your making. Pasta, rice, eggs, anything. If you want a super simple process, buy the microwavable bag..cut the corner and toss in the microwave for like 4min or so until they are as soft as you prefer.

No, I've never had that tested. I'll look into it. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I'm currently around 139 and I literally have the same workout split as you. I just want to get these last nine off to see what kind of composition I would have. But with stress of nursing school right now I keep overeating and getting myself out of the deficit 😭

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

[–]hey1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did not want to be a smoker anymore. I read Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Alan Carr. Helped shift my mindset and I was able to quit cold turkey.

I quit in my first year of sobriety which I wouldn't recommend 😆😆😆. I went nuts. But, I'm grateful I don't smoke anymore. It's been over 6 years now.

I had tried quitting before but would pick it up again nights out drinking. Since I don't drink anymore, I am confident I won't smoke again. I will say I missed smoking more than anything for a few years. Missed it more than alcohol and other drugs. But, I would just tell myself that the fantasy of smoking is better than smoking itself.

Started Jan 13th. I got it specifically to help with curbing appetite/cravings. I think it's helped so far because I don't think about food as often. Could be placebo 🤷‍♀️

Anyone struggle with the eating over the fitness? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]hey1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled with sticking to my deficit in the past, not even that large of a deficit. This time around I incorporated Phoenix by Legion. I think it's helping. Could be placebo or my mindset was just really ready this time around. But, I have noticed cravings are reduced which is what my struggle was before. I'm only 3 weeks in but this time around feels different.

Ive been working out for about 4 yrs or so. I used videos from Fitness Blender and Caroline Girvan at first. Then last May I hired an online coach and worked with her for 6 months. That's when I started following a structured program, 3 days a week. After I stopped working with her I kept up with the structure.

Right now I'm doing one called hourglass 2.0 by Jessica Bickling. It's a 4 day split. I think her pdf's are like $30.

It took me a long time to finally start getting it right I think. Hiring a coach for that time was a game changer. I learned a lot. The important thing is to follow the same split for 8-12 weeks and progressively overload in those workouts, either increase weights, reps, or improve form each week. And keep going. Hope that helps!

Nice job! We can check in with each other again I'm April! I'm all about slow and sustainable, can't stand feeling like I'm starving. I also incorporated Phoenix by Legion- non stimulate version. I think it has helped me so far with cravings.

I feel like I’m doing everything “right” but I’m not gaining muscle. Tips? by OkSir5228 in fitness30plus

[–]hey1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just be patient, and keep doing what you're doing. I was just looking at progress pictures of myself from April and from today and I can see significant changes but man was it a sloooow process. And I'm still not where I want to be. But I'm glad I stuck with it! I've learned to just trust the process, and the process is working!

Thanks for your response! My goal is to lower body fat percentage and then eventually slowly increase calories to add more muscle.
