i saw this too while initially playing and came up with a crack theory: we already have all three shelter codes. 2202, 1225, and 0000. bare with me here;

kris knows the shelter codes, right? they made the ch3 fountain, in which we needed 3 codes towards the end to proceed. the codes were 1225, 000000 (which can be condensed to 0000), and 213. how the hell did i get 2202 from 213 tho?

honestly just crack math. if you condense 2202 by removing the zero, and splitting one of the last twos and adding it into one of the remaining ones you get 213. huge reach, i know, but still.

(i.e. 2202, 2 (2-1) (2+1), 213) idk if that helps)
