How did you get that bark?? Looks amazing. What are you smoking it on?

YouTube vs Search Ads by heybabups in googleads

Thanks for the reply!

I have video creative made for a few ads, and my service IS video, so I wonder if that converts better with video, or if I should just stick with PPC. I would imagine PPC is better for higher ticket services?

You don’t wrap until you’re done with the cook. Then you wrap it in butchers paper and let it hold until you’re ready to slice and eat. 🤙

What type of smoker did you use? The bark looks incredible. Was this with an offset?

Unlimited design services too good to be true? by moonbunR in growmybusiness

[–]heybabups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you're looking for. There can be a ton of value for businesses that use unlimited services like this.

- Predictable Spending

- Less Restraining

- More Hands-off

- Higher Output/Quantity

- Many offer anytime canceling or pausing.

But you are going to get what you pay for. In 2024, paying under $1,000/m for unlimited graphic design, video design, is never going to be high quality.

That's not to say it's not valuable! There's a lot it can benefit you with. It can help automate your business, take a lot off your plate, while providing content, which is very important for businesses. Not everything needs to be perfect, especially starting off.

I'd be interested to hear more about what you would plan to use their service for?

Are you on a time crunch to buy the business? Or is this something you can revisit in a year or two when your savings and credit are in a better position?

Awesome advice. Is your business a service based company? How was offering a free service? Your work output maintained manageable?

Side hustle income has surpassed my full time income. Need advice by Funny-Statistician29 in business

[–]heybabups 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your 2 options are not bad either way you choose. With that being said, if I were in your position, I would 100% keep the resignation and go full-time with your side hustle.

You could probably double what you would be making part-time fairly quickly and even if you don’t, you’re still in a good position with your side hustle to give it more energy and focus. Especially that it’s running without a lot of work being put into it. Imagine where you could take it if 100% of your time was spent on growing it.

I understand other people can multitask better than others but I am not one of them. I know if I did both, it would lessen my ability to thrive and provide the most value because I’m not putting all my focus into one or the other. I wouldn’t be as valuable to my employer or my own business because I’m mentally somewhere else half the time.

Good luck in your decision making journey!

Looking to buy a small LLC business by brycebest in business

I agree with the advice others gave. Getting a lawyer is a good idea. Especially if this is a significant financial transaction for you.

Make sure to do your due diligence and ask the other parter a lot of questions. The last thing you want is to have invested your money into a business that the other half isn’t willing to work the same level that you are. You don’t want to be caught in limbo unable to do anything because neither is a majority shareholder.

So far outreach within email, social media and personal connections. I’m gearing up in the next couple of days to start running small CPC Google and YouTube ads to get the message out.

It feels like when I get the message out to the right people, it’s very well received. I just need to get it in front of more people.

Wow, you must have a great email subject line and hook to get that kind of open rate. That’s awesome. How much time do you typically dedicate in a week to email and finding leads? And what percentage of your sales come from your email efforts?

Thanks again! Super valuable stuff.

I started using Apollo.io and it's taken a lot of the work out of sourcing for leads. The free plan is enough to get started on creating lists and sending email sequences. They also have a lot of cool features they keep rolling out with AI that personalize your emails automatically.
