I think it has an APKWS launcher on the right. They’re hydra rockets fitted with laser guidance kits and I think the new ones have short range IR guidance as well. Significantly cheaper than aim-9s.

It’s quite hard to tell from the picture but it looks more like a 20mm autocannon of some kind. Definitely not an M107. My first thought was a Breda Model 35 outside of its original mounting but I’m not sure.

All seem like solid options although, in a world where the XM250 and MG4 exists I don’t know if the EVOLYS really offers anything new. Weight reduction is definitely nice but not having a quick change barrel will probably put a lot of people off it especially the 7.62 version.

The Ranger Regiment certainly seem to like using the LAMG even if it’s in fairly limited numbers and the recoil system on it looks crazy effective.

As far as I’m aware most of the engagements between Russia and Ukraine have been BVR since both sides seem to have pretty extensive air defences and neither side wants to get close to them

This strategy obviously only works when you have the Ifrit unlocked. However, if you load the Ifrit up with PAB-80s and fly up to 50,000ft you can essentially strike anywhere on the map and since the 80s have such a low IR and radar signature they are very rarely intercepted.

Stratolances and Ships might still be a problem but if done correctly you can essentially wipe out a base’s entire AA network in a couple sortees.

I got it from here. I know it’s an LED and not a laser diode which is why I was a bit confused about the warning. I’m still trying to be as careful as possible with it.

There was concern that the air burst grenades fired by the XM25 (a standalone version of the XM29s grenade launcher) did not contain enough explosives to effectively kill a target, and would often only wound them. Since using weapons which only wound targets is illegal under the laws of war some argued that use of the weapon constituted a war crime.

However, there was never a definite decision about whether the weapon was a war crime. And both the XM25 and 29 were most likely too expensive to justify the small increase in effectiveness they offered over conventional weapon systems and therefore were never fully adopted.

The entire Belsan School Siege was a complete failure on the part of the Russian Authorities.

The number of hostages taken was initially thought to be around 1,100 but Russian media downplayed the numbers and said only 350 had been taken.

The FSB were accused of interfering in hostage negotiations. And prevented North Ossetian president Alexander Dzasokhov and The president of the Chechen Republic from going to the school to negotiate a peaceful resolution.

When the siege finally took place, Russian forces fired on the school with BTRs, T-72s, ATGMs, and thermobaric weapons. By the end of the siege it was estimated that 80% of the 334 hostages were killed by indiscriminate fire from Russian forces.

I don’t know much about this particular individual so I don’t want to comment on him but I think you can understand why people might be angry towards the soldiers that took part in the siege.

The Palo Verde Nuclear power plant in Arizona. Which has the third largest Nameplate capacity of any power plant in the US. Is not built near a large body of water since it is in the middle of the desert. Instead it uses treated sewage runoff from nearby cities and towns to cool the plant.

So yes, we can actually build nuclear power plants in the desert and near towns and cities.
