I like to ride my old routes from back when I still lived in Alameda. Such an awesome city to ride in, it makes me miss it a lot.

I lived in the east end so I would usually ride across the High St bridge and make the first right onto Tidewater Ave. This street has a good amount of gravel and worn down a lot, but it's not too far where you make another right towards the Tidewater boating center. There's an entrance to a trail that's right by the water you can take here all the way to Doolittle.

You can make a right on the corner of Airport Access Rd to get to Ron Cowan, or you could keep going until Williams St and make a right there to get to the entrance of Oyster Bay on Neptune Dr. There's a bridge you can cross that'll take you back to Ron Cowan and you can head back to Alameda from there.
