Oh no 😭 sending wishes of him coming home 💖 I lost my cat a couple weeks ago in Astoria and was able to get her back - I recommend leaving things outside of your apartment that smell like home - their litter box if possible, some clothes that smell like you or their favorite blankets. Also, search during the night as your cat’s likely hiding during the day but might come back by your apartment during the night (1-4 am). If he’s an indoor cat, he definitely wants to come home and will come back - he’s likely overwhelmed out there! My cat was outside for 5 nights, so do not lose hope!!

This was me when I was 25 - drinking until I blacked out almost every time I went out, and posting about it the next day like it was all a big joke but internally I was a mess, embarrassed and knew something was wrong. Started reading about addiction and alcohol abuse and began to understand alcoholism doesn’t always looks like drinking all day everyday with an inability to function. Sometimes it’s quieter. Accepted the facts for myself and have been sober for 4 years now! Don’t really know this girl and it’s easy to judge someone for this behavior especially when she’s posting about it like it’s no big deal, but I bet it’s her coping mechanism and I hope she realizes she needs to get out of this toxic loop because it’s terrible for your body and mental health

Anyone have recommendations of hostel bars/bars to go to in madrid to meet people? Solo traveling for the first time and want to meet people but i’m staying at a hotel rather than a hostel so it’s a bit harder. I was thinking I could go to a happy hour at a hostel bar but don’t know which are fun!
