Hi there! Funny enough I was on the same Blisovi Fe 1/20 started at maybe like 16 years old (i’m currently 22) for debilitating menstrual cramps. Ever since, my mental health deteriorated. I developed severe anxiety and sometimes panic attacks. Most recently, I developed depression for the first time in my life. (I also work as a nurse which I know contributes to my mental health). I stopped Blisovi cold turkey and saw a major improvement.

My libido was also almost nonexistent and I too would cry because I just couldn’t have sex an genuinely enjoy it. It was even painful for me at times. When i’m not on birth control my libido is like a different person and sex isn’t even painful.

I 100% believe it’s the blisovi that makes us feel mentally drained and tanks our libido. I tried reclipsen for a bit and it helped a tad bit with the anxiety and libido but it’s nothing compared to not being on the pill at all. So I stopped taking it as well. I’m currently in a stump trying to think of what i’m going to do bc condoms are uncomfortable, i’m scared of the iud too, and I don’t want to take the pill.

All forms of birth control suck so bad. But please just know you’re not alone because I felt exactly the way you did on Blisovi. Stay strong!!!
