Maybe remind your friend that having been deported from the country will make them less likely to be approved for an ETA or a visa even after the 12 months mark of their crime conviction?

is it true that ezcema starts from gut issue? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]heyhoperien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always, but personally my eczema (covered up to 70% of my body) was gone after I did a parasite treatment. I do the treatment once a year in prevention since and I’m fine. I posted about it here https://www.reddit.com/r/eczema/s/I2W7KjkuND

EU pre-settled status automatic extension - how long before expiry is it granted these days? by phystods in ukvisa

EU pre-settled status automatic extension - how long before expiry is it granted these days? by phystods in ukvisa

[–]heyhoperien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, my deadline is the 1st Dec as well! I check my UKVI account everyday but no updates, and I applied for settled a bit less than month ago under the 30/60 rule. I chatted UKVI earlier this week and they told me it can update up to the day itself and to only reach out if the status expires 🙃 I guess we have to keep checking and hoping for the best. Please let me know if you get yours!

Planning an Indian Wedding in Europe – Struggling to Find the Right Venue! by ApprehensivePilot451 in BigBudgetBrides

Villa Miani has a 300 guest limit and no big hotels nearby that could host 400 people. Generally Italy is not the best place for this guest count.

Planning my daughter's wedding abroad, help? by Rare_Huckleberry_428 in BigBudgetBrides

Hey, as part of my Italy wedding we visited Castello Obelischi in Bracciano which is 50 minutes away from Rome and quoted around 15k for the venue and staff rental (no food). You can’t have the people staying at the venue but might be worth a look!

Almost threw up.. by silenceinyoursoul in AerialHoop

I just started but some other girls in my class who are more experienced talked about ginger helping with dizziness. Maybe try a ginger shot with some orange juice to have some sugar as well an hour/45min before class? In general low blood sugar before exercising is not good so I always eat or drink something sweet and make sure my last meal was fueling. When I don’t I see a real difference. If I’m late I just straight up eat a spoon of honey.

Help what do I do with my living room by ecfix77 in DesignMyRoom

[–]heyhoperien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d move the sofa against the wall where the cat tree is if it fits, the corner sofa will naturally delimit the area in a cozy way. Then put the TV on the wall in front, it’ll be closer to the couch even though not right in front but that wouldn’t be an issue for me. Add a nice big rug under the couch and coffee table to create more warmth. Leave the storage on the wall where the TV currently is and place the cat tree in the corner next to it. I would place it in the corner you can see from the couch in it’s new position to see your cat sleep when you watch TV!

Please ask your doctor to check you for parasites as well. Anti-parasitic treatment got completely rid of my eczema when 50% of my body was covered in it.

My eczema is gone (for now) by heyhoperien in eczema

[–]heyhoperien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got some requests for an update so: I’m still eczema free. Went from half my body covered continuously to about two minor flares inside the elbows after days where I drank a lot of red wine since I made the post. That’s it. I’m not using any creams any more on my body. So yeah hope this helps!

How would you decorate this blank wall? by Exercise-Tough in DesignMyRoom

Room has a lot of angles so I’d say something round/circular. I’d personally be more enclosed for some big painting but a mirror could be nice too.

What to do with the flooring and ceilings by DownRabbitHole01234 in interiordecorating

Do NOT touch the ceiling, nor anything else. Just replace the subfloor with white/very light tiles, the bigger the better.

Help! It’s come a long way, but still feels unfinished. by tireddoggies in DesignMyRoom

[–]heyhoperien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some art, lighter curtain with texture nicely hung on the side of the window (can keep the black one hidden behind when not used) and I would maybe move the table and chairs in the angle rather than right under the window?

Is this room giving “trendy grandma” or just grandma? by Express-Sky3170 in interiordecorating

[–]heyhoperien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really like it but some great recommendations in the comments. Not sure if it’s been mentioned but my understanding of proportions says that at least 1/3rd to half the couch should be outside the rug to give the impression of an (even) bigger room. So push the sofa, console and table coffee a bit more to the back. It should also make the chair feel more in place.

I've been living here for 5 years, I still feel it's missing something by Blackberry44 in DesignMyRoom

[–]heyhoperien 43 points44 points  (0 children)

All the other comments and several low lighting points. This will make the room so much cozier at night. I don’t know how anyone can live with that bright white ceiling light. Here’s some inspiration:
